Campaign Receives Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction

Boulder – It’s been two months since 17 people were killed at a high school in South Florida. Even with all the outrage, Congress has done nothing to stop this senseless violence from happening again. No wonder kids from Parkland are calling BS on politicians and their double-speak. There is no BS here. Our campaign just received the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction, recognizing us as part of the grassroots movement fighting for stronger solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes.


My Key Positions on Gun Control

Here’s why I think we received the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction, I support:

  • Banning assault weapons.
  • Lifting the 1997 “Dickey Amendment” that bars the CDC from studying firearm violence and how to prevent it.
  • Banning gun sales to those on the no-fly list, to violent felons, or those convicted of domestic violence.
  • I oppose rolling back restrictions on silencers or machine guns.
  • Banning bump-fire stocks and large capacity ammunition magazines.
